Loading up the beast after a lunch ride and noticed glass stuck in one of the knobs. Almost cut all the way through to the tube.

Well, this tire is so new it still has the little rubber tits on the sides! I'm not gonna replace it...

Dab of super glue inside the slice and clamp down the tire so it closes.

Leave it for a few hours and re-inflate. Not too bad...

Here it is after a ride around the neighborhood.

I marked it with a wax pencil so it would be easy to find and monitor. We'll see if it splits back open again. If so, new tires. :sigh:

You should get the flexible version for this sort of thing.
3M has one with rubber particles in it for this purpose.
