my non-drive-side crank keeps coming loose. it's a square-taper crankset. i have tightened it pretty tight, but it worked loose again. i shouldn't have to tighten it every few rides, should I? any tips? thanks!

Well no, it shouldn't, put don't feel alone. This problem is shared by many (most) who run square taper cranks. Only real cure I know of is a new BB cartridge. Or better yet, a hollow-tech crank.

Do you have another NDS arm you could try fitting?

This would tell if it's the BB or the arm that is the culprit.

well, this is on the fatwally, so a new, better BB is out. i need to make sure that the nut/bolt isn't bottoming out. and I'll just tighten it often. i am also planning on replacing the cranks anyway.

okay, thanks for the advice.
