... seems to be working just fine. I destroyed a SRAM PC1051 in fewer than 1k miles. I had an almost new PC971 of the right length in a drawer so I am giving it a shot. I like the feel of the 9sp chain much better and it seems to be working fine when riding around the neighborhood. I am going to take it to trails for a real test soon, anyone has any experience with a similar setup?

No issues during the first ride and I rode some techy stuff today. What kind of difficulties were you experiencing Mr. Magura, problems when shifting to higher gears?

Problems all over, but in particular when shifting higher gears.
The chain simply wouldn't jump off the edge of the cog it should be leaving.
