I am selling my beloved Trek as it is being replaced by a Surly Karate Monkey Ops. Too many bikes in the stable and I need $$$ to finish building the Surly.

This bike was purchased new by me in 2001 at Bikes Plus in Flower Mound. I was only able to ride the bike about 4-5 times back then before I thought I hurt my knee and was no longer able to ride. The bike was mothballed for at least 10 years.

In early 2012, I spent time learning how to "fit" myself to the bike properly. I had not suffered a knee injury, but I was sitting WAY too far forward on the bike which was hurting my knees while riding. As a result, I started riding this bike again but only on pavement. This bike may have been ridden off road a total of 10 times in its life. Since December 2012, when I purchased my Camber, this bike has been a commuter and pavement toy. I have fun riding it around my neighborhood and running errands. It has seen an easy life.

Please see the photo captions for the upgrades (the bike is not stock). Also, I have a fully rigid chromo fork that I can include for $50 (hardly been ridden). I also have a set of Time ATAC Alium clipless pedals I can include for $35 (no cleats though).
