A part composite prototype frame, made by yours truly last Saturday.

Testing at a show this weekend in Herning, Denmark.

Sweet! Keep us updated...and whatever happened to the other one, it may have been a dirt jump frame? It was all composite and I think it had a removable seat mast? Anyway did you ever try that one out, it looked really Interesting....

The DJ frame is a hobby project, thus it gets worked on when there's time for "hobby projects".
It's not dead, just hibernating a bit.

The Trial frame is work, so it has a somewhat higher priority.
If time permits, I would very much like to get the DJ frame out when the spring comes, but that's at least a couple of months from now.

EDIT: you can actually find stuff about the recent progress of the DJ carbon bike here on HK. Latest news I believe was the electronically controlled adjustable seat height.
I only recently got the rest of the bits needed for that, but it's moving forward.

Yeah they need to get up to speed, and get an English version up and running.

Ok, it's getting real hard to maintain the pessimism ;)

The bike has been under hard testing the last two days.
So far everything works as expected.
This just might become real nice.
I think I want one of those for myself now :D

Is it a business endeavor for you or just a hobby? It looks great. I would look even better with some bamboo parts! (just kidding!)

This is a hobby to me, and will not be anything else.
I have a medical implants R&D company, that's what I do for a living.
This may turn into a business endeavor, just not mine ;)

LOL, I'm the one that isn't there ;)

The frame is under the kid with the white helmet.

That's super interesting. I can't imagine all the stuff you need to know about corrossion mitigation and what properties materials must have or not have to keep antibodies from attacking the implants. Do you do any titanium?

Yes we make stuff of titanium on regular basis, as it's still the most common material for implants.
Love what can be made of it, and the fancy anodizing it makes possible.

It was a big expo, some 60,000 visitors as I recall.
Part of the time is was a trial workshop for anybody and everybody, and 3 times a day they had a show with some of the tough guys, which the guy on the test bike among a couple of others did.

Magura, please make female terminators.

I'd like to place my pre-order for a model Cherry 2000.

Indeed!

That will be the next step for sure.
Just imagine the torque that thing can supply.
