My five YO needs some love. Brake disc’s are shot, missing cover under the RD shifter. Never serviced shock or fork. Finish is poo. Not sure if I should fix or replace. The bike that is. Do some shopping and decide. It’s more bike than I need but new bikes are so inspiring

Two MTB rides this week. Normally I’d feel great shame saying that.

The cold bug has finally let up

Go get 'em MT!

I'm off the bike at least until Saturday. There is a flu-bug and a bad cold going around and I have a light case of symptoms. No desire to ride currently.

That's what I like about this place. Someone is always picking up the slack for the rest of us who cannot get out there at a given time.

Usually I keep the beer part to a minimum, as I don't really like it.

In stuff with less than 12% vol alcohol, the risk of bacteria is simply too high!

I'm a pussy. Beer gets into the 7+ range I'm out. That's why I like English brands. Low alcohol content is a plus for me. Not saying I don't indulge in the higher alc stuff just not something I seek out.

A nice imperial stout is just too good to resist

You also gotta think of the environment.
Save water, drink bubbles!

Interesting. Normally, I'm difficult to get drunk. Russki/Mongolian genes. But this type of beer can affect me, similar to psylocibin . It also stuffs up my nasal passages like a mofo. My point being that both 'shrooms and thick dark beer have fungi in common. The fungus among us can at times make our brains jump through hoops. I believe there is an increasing amount of research going on surrounding this "issue".

Free Will, or Fungus? 8-)

I slipped out to Lake Havasu City, AZ this weekend to fish with my old tournament partner, which we did yesterday. I brought my bike so today, I rode SARA Park with 15 trillion other trail users. At least there was some hottie gal riders to enhance the views.
