;) Mr. M; is smoking butt like scoring a POAss?
Mr Mini; You are one rugged individual- a diamond in the rough. I only rode in snow once, and that was by mistake. My younger bro Mike still remains me of that ;)
Norton; 8-)
Mr. H. - Awesome. As usual.
DJ; Please, Heel up, bro!

Rugged, nope. Just a former paper boy so it’s nothing unusual for me

Mr M your comment did not go unnoticed

It depends how good the POA is.
If I had to pick, I think mostly I'd take the smoked butt, as here it's an exotic and unusual thing.
POA you can get anywhere.¨

I was up in the High Desert again this weekend (and I will be out there again next weekend). Yesterday, I had time to get in a short ride so I headed over to the rocks to play around. I've shared this area with you before. It's been developed quite a bit in the past year by the National Park Service and it is now an extension of Joshua Tree National Park but luckily, mountain bikes remain legal to ride there.

Looks like a blast out there Hawg. Winter months in the desert is hard to beat. Kind if tricky in some spots trying to figure out where the trail goes and not much room for error with the chunk lined trail. I like the last section of the last video with the downhill flow. And thanks for throwing in my signature move in the opening scene of the first video. Good to see it lives on. :)

Yes, the "DJ panoramic" scene style lives on.

So does the coyote in the snow story. I was texting with Optimus, Heyyall, and Bike&Fish today and to this day, including today, they occasionally bring up the claimed coyote story. You left quite an impression on them.

Just a quick short loop to get up to and down through El P this morning with the boyz. Lots of trail users this morning. No pics or video today.

Mini, here's some blue sky for you from my balcony.

Happy Thanksgiving fellas!

Damn man that’s nice! Just starting the dark months here. We get clear skies daily. More accurately we get clear skies nightly

It's blue like this most days of the year here. Once in a while, we get the clouds or fog and when we do, the spoiled bastards around here start wondering if it's the end of the world. :snooty:

Black Friday Mt Lukens grind! Steve reached out to me this morning to see if I wanted to join in on a grind up the front range. Oh, heck yeah, I'm in! It's been super windy here so there is a lot of dust in the air which limits the visibility of what is usually awesome views from up atop at the towers. The wind was ripping on us as we got higher and higher up the mountain. Sometimes it was pushing hard on us as we pedaled, other times it was pushing us up the mountain. A few times I had a strong cross wind just about blow me off my bike! My legs and lungs were in sync today so I had a good climb up. 13.53 miles, 2431' gain. That's Ross and Steve in the pic. We were taking shelter from the gusts up at the towers when we reached the top. Blue skies: YES :D In the lower pic, you can see the Pacific shining in the sunlight off in the distance.

Awesome, Mr. H! I finally was forced onto my bike when my van would not start. I got AAA so I got a free tow to my favorite garage. I was thinking start maybe, more likely in the ignition. switch. It was neither. Turned out it was the key: it had become "de-coded" somehow.
That's a new one to me!

That's really some beautiful territory you got there, man/

Another wonderful ride on the Strawberry Peak classic loop. I rode with a new friend today. True blue skies and perfect riding temps. Oh, and quite a few trail hotties out, too! :D

Yesterday I took the Mrs. to the highest point in Denmark (when including the tower), Ejer Bavnehoej.
Normally there's quite a view, but exactly yesterday, well, I'll let the photo speak for itself.
You can hardly spot the our car, let alone tell what car it is.
The photo is taken from the top of the tower, about 40' above the parking lot.
The drive there was great though, as the fog set in just for the last couple of miles.
