Anyone else frequently search for used stuff when needing something? Here's a list of my favorite parts/gear swap sites.

Used MTB related stuff...

PB&J Classifieds [Pedals Bikes & Junk]: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PBJclas ... ef=browser

Online Swap Meet: https://www.facebook.com/groups/onlineswap/?ref=browser

MTB Swap Meet: https://www.facebook.com/groups/mtbswap ... ef=browser

Pedal 4 Less: https://www.facebook.com/groups/pedal4less/?ref=browser

Pinkbike BuySell: http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/

Used bikepacking related stuff...

Bikepacking.net Classifieds: http://www.bikepacking.net/forum/index.php?board=8.0

Bikepacking Gear Swap: https://www.facebook.com/groups/391720177670964/

Bearfoot's Hiking Gear Flea Market: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Bearfoo ... ef=browser
Just FYI, "Bearfoot" can be kind of a dick about the rules... :)

Pinkbike, Ride Monkey classifieds, plus there is a bunch of East coast for sale FB groups where people sell tons of good stuff (with their real identities which helps).

Mostly FleaBay and local swap meets since I don't have a FB account.

I've shopped on Craigslist, EB classified, and I've given some nice stuff away to Nicole B and friends... I think her buddy Dawn Dion is in possession of a very nice Hadley 135mm with 10mm through axle rear hub in Red Bling, with all new fresh guts installed by Mike Hadley before I gifted it to her, in a Pay It Forward gist. Sure, I could have sold it, just felt it easier to give it to someone deserving or needy. As a FB friend, Dawn came across as deserving.

I'm a hunter when it comes to shopping so where ever I find the best price, is where I spend my loot.

No worries, she knows, when she's finished with it, she too needs to pay it forward to someone deserving again and again. I was a beta tester for Hadley, of sorts, providing feedback, which is why it's completely redone with all new fresh guts, so that the owner could look at wear patterns for product improvement. Being 235 lbs and 36" legs on 29" wheels tested the torque limits when we have so much 600-700 feet per mile climbs here in So Cal.

A Hadley hub should be darn near silent when coasting, STI, so if you ever hear her real wheel sounding off, remind her it needs to be lubed, the pawls and carriers. Generally if you call Hadley during business hours, they will set you up with proper spanner wrenches and lube. Hadleys are a true racing hub, they roll forever, but they are a bit of maintenance also. I would not hang that bike or it's wheels on the back on wet salted road days or slushy rainy days either, nor would I wash the bike off with high pressure cleaners or hose, the water pressure will get past the seals and turn the bearings to rust.

Marktplaats mostly, if I see anything I can resell for profit or see something very good for cheap (XTR RD for 15-20 euros i.e) most of the times I instantly jump on it.
