That patch is at the top of a technical climb and I normally clear it on my geared bike. I was tired an on my SS today and actually went over the bars and onto the roots. Figured it was a good spot to rest and take a picture. ;)

Great pic! The trails of north Texas look nothing like the Canadian forests. :) I hope to visit and ride up there some day.

That pic could have been from Denmark.

Flat and tall pine trees.

Magura :)

Not quite flat. Directly in front of you, almost hidden by the fog, you're looking at the tops of 200 foot tall trees.

Just below the snow line in this picture.

LOL.

That my friend does not resemble Denmark the slightest bit.

oso! Glad you could make it! I know it's cold and nasty in the US north-east. Any trail time further north? ;)

marps, if it ain't colder than -15C - it is a great riding time... went out last night with a good buddy of mine to a rock garden trail system nearby... real challenge even when bone dry... -10C and dry packed snow... rocks were great. vertical traction was awesome - side loads were challenging... our lights lasted just over 2 hours and 15 mins and we had to head back to the parking lot... when i get Lifeproof case for my iPhone5 - i will snap some pics... riding in snow - especially in rock garden with few features, many bridges, skinnies, rock features, tall log overs etc... it was awesome... beats my cyclops trainer hands down... ;)

unfortunately - we discovered that the local hydro utility was doing some "vegetation management" - translated - they removed huge areas of shrub and short trees on the hydro line... some trails were lost but if there is will - the potential to build some dirt jump tracks is now huge... good times...

had trail ninja stayed in our neck of the woods - we would have been ahead of the game...

Nokia is from Finland....that's not too far from Denmark though ;)

Dynaudio is a different matter. I worked for the for a few months, some 20 years ago. I just went there for a job to get a nice bit of insight on the factory.
I have built amplifiers and speakers up till a couple of years ago.
If that sort of thing tickles your fancy, have a look at http://www.class-a-labs.com.
That is a page I haven't updated for ages, but shows some of my latest projects in that category.
I finished the amps you see there a few years ago, and kinda thought I had hit the point of diminishing returns pretty hard.

Magura :)

EDIT: Nice you found your way to a real forum finally. I missed having you around.

Well! I had to go looking through your website and it seems there's a photo of you there. :) I don't remember you ever posting in the other photo thread. Nice to put a face with a name finally. 8-)

I left my tools & bike in good hands in Ontario. My lady is still in Port Colborne and my daughter lives near Kingston. osokolo owes me a ride in the Humber. I'll be back!

Meanwhile, I've been building up my strength with some light workouts on the middle school trails.

i am a big sucker... love good sound and always find a way to burn more money than i would want to admit on my stereo system... i settled with my latest system last year - Wilson Benesch speakers, made out of beautiful nude carbon fiber, Boulder amp and Simaudio CD/DAC... playing with full digital setup, still enjoying my red book CD collection...

that is some cool looking chassis you have built there... class A does run as hot as the chassis looks... :) that was one of the reasons i did not pursue class A amplification too much... wife factor required closed stereo cabinet... ;) was looking at some nice Luxmans...

anyway, toys for boys... had a great ride today again... trails were absolutely perfect, with packed snow and balmy -12C... :)

SFV? That's like porn central. Have you ever sat on the mountains and looked down with binoculars to see if you can find if there's any filming action? Or... have you volunteered to be an extra. LOL

I was just about to ask the same thing, LOL.

Nice pano Marpilli. It is interesting to see how the matching algorithm followed the branches. Those roots look yummy!

I've actually done electrical work in designated "porn filming houses". They look just like any other house. I've also been stuck on partially closed roads due to porn filming crews having their equipment all over the place. I've seen some scantily dressed porn actresses walking about the scene too. Oh, yeah!

I do that all the time, just ask Nicole. Are those Bontrager lock-on grips? I think I used to have exactly the same pair.
