^ agree on the shimano brakes. If for no other reason than how quiet they are even in the rain and cold.

Can’t wait for the unveiling here. That red looks hot!

Looking good Sti! Orange bikes (I call them Easter eggs due to the brightness) rule. I've got one, too.

Now, that poor, stripped down, depressed red HT frame in the mix there is wondering if it has any future in your stable.

Sti, now tell the truth.....do you really only have 3 bikes and a frame, or was that a trick photo?

As most of you have figured by now, yes, Magura is a spandex wearing closet roadie.

Over the last year, I've been collecting parts for some toys I've wanted to try playing with for a while.
Here's one of them.

A TT bike from the Gerolsteiner team, AFAIK only two were ever made, the other is in a museum in Switzerland.

Wow, only remember Gersolsteiner riding Specialized and never knew they were on Kleins. Very nice, especially since yours in a complete bike vs. the frame only at the museum. TT bikes have changed a bit since then :) Where'd you pick it up?

Mine sees frequent use in the summer, and is spared in no way. It's a toy!
When I pick up the Mrs. after work (I do that every day), if the weather is nice it's more often than not the Gerolsteiner Klein that is the choice of the day.
It's a blast on the way out, but fairly uncomfortable on the way back together with the Mrs., chitchatting at more civilized speeds.

I found it locally here in Germany, and for the rather reasonable price of $1500 with a Dura Ace 7800 group.
The Shimano road group world stopped at 9sp. though (or at least it got measly), so I built it up with a 7700 group.
That's what I use for pretty much all my road and cross bikes, the same is the group of choice of the Mrs. Makes life easy, as I only need to stock one kind of spares.

Magura :)

Just a NEW piece added to an old TOY. I replaced an alloy bottle cage with an adjustable bottle cage that makes it possible to use large volume bottles on my Remedy. :D

MTB, roadies, I’ll add some cruiser porn

Old Atom 5 speed drum brake from a tandem stuffed into the frame of my huffy Slingshot muscle bike. Mendon is handling the wheel build. 40mm rim on the way

It's reversible for use on either side but I am a natural Lefty. "All lefty, all the time".

Wife bought me a swing bike for an anniversary gift over the summer. Bike was nicely hosed so I could do whatever I wanted with it. Setting it up with lighter BMX wheels and hookworms to keep it playfull

This thing has ER written all over it

Spring helps keep the back wheel somewhat straight or there is a lockout pin to keep the back from pivoting. Just a playbike
