Just a place to discuss ride plans and get a group together.

This weekend if the trails dry up I plan on hitting Northshore with a friend. Anyone else want to join. It will be a snails pace since my buddy hasn't ridden much and I would consider him a beginner.

Further down the road: I am planning a womble bike camping trip. Maybe two loops to include some Ouachita trail? 3-4 days total. Maybe more and we can hit up some of AR other trails. Let me know if anyone is interested. FYI the womble is an IMBA epic trail. A bucket list trail if you will.

Wish I could join you, but I've got commitments. I need to hit NS soon, I miss it. That's probably my favorite DFW trail.

Excellent thread idea! :)

We have a stack of baseball games for the kids this weekend. But, I plan on hitting my "home trail" a few times next week if either of you are interested in joining me. Someone needs to go over to empty beer and rustle up Poison Dart Frog. He lives in our general area and is a great guy to ride with. I think I have an email for him somewhere (I'll go looking).

I've got Friday off next week, so I could join you for a lunch or after-work ride (maybe 2 full laps?!). You know how to get ahold of me.

I don't have anything on the calendar so I say let's plan it. Two full laps means I'm bringing my geared bike. ;)

Paul, have any plans around 4:00'ish on the 12th? Wanna join us?

I like it. I'll try to remember to bring my legs that day.

Northshore is going to open in the morning. I will be heading out there sometime tomorrow. Not sure when since I have a lot of yard work to do.

Wish I could join you. I've never been out there. Do you ever go out to NS on a weekday afternoon?

Any idea if the ride Friday will be affected by the rain?

Lol, I'm thinking this week is a no-go. The trail in question was borderline muddy before the rain. I'm sure it's a mess right now.

That's what I thought. NS may be open this weekend. I'll probably go there, hopefully.

If it dries out by Saturday, I think I may hit NS, as well.

It usually dries out pretty quick.

I'm a morning rider, so if NS is open Saturday morning, I'll probably do a dawn (7-7:30am wheels to dirt) ride.

What section are you gonna ride? West, east or everything? I was thinking about doing the whole loop.

Yeah, the whole enchilada would be cool. Some of that west side beats me up, so I avoid it when I'm tired. But it's good for me, right? ;)

Looks as if HM (boooooring) is slated to be open Saturday, so I'll go do like a bazillion laps out there if NS isn't open.

Man, no time to drive out there!
Nothing in my neck of the woods is open
So I laced up the running shoes instead.

Oh, I'm in. I'll be on my SS though. Just took the Titus home last night to swap out the damper cartridge. Probably won't have an opportunity to swap it tonight. I'll be riding old faithful. :)

My schedule on Friday afternoon is flexible. Any time between noon and 5:00 is a good kickoff time for me.

I have an appointment @6, so earlier is better. Anytime during the day is fine for me.
