Paul, any particular time best for you?

If no preference, how about meeting at the trailhead at 3:00?

I wont be getting off of work until 3:30 if I am lucky. You guys don't worry about me. I am going to ride after work today and race at Erwin if its not too wet. So, in conclusion, dont wait for me.

3:00 at the trailhead it is then...

Paul, I'll PM you my cell phone number in case you change your mind and want to ride after work. I know all the short cuts and we can get back to meet up with you pretty quickly.

this is starting to sound like a lot of fun. How about a beer at the beginning of every loop?

Add a shot at the end of every loop and do not forget to document the progress with a camera!

I could bring a few bottles. And, I know the trail off-shoots where we could hide out and drink them. ;)

Ok, Tuesday evening Northshore ride. Anyone down? Thursday night Erwin Park short track races, anyone? Friday I am riding somewhere after work. Anyone want to join me? I am willing to ride anywhere. Was thinking of trying a new trail. Any takers? Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Thanks for the lolz w/ that pic, Paul. :laughing-rollingyellow:
I'm out in Central TX all week, so I'm out.
Next week I'm game and open for anything. Hoping to hit the Thurs night races next week, too.
Paul, you should come out to RL next Saturday night 7/13 for the Smurfboy 4hr--they've got a SS category.

Well, I was wrong. Wife is working Tue, Wed, and Fri. That means I need to pick up the kids from the in-laws after work each of those days. No after eork riding for me this week. See why I'm grateful for my little lunch time rides?

I'll try to remember to get some. I am debating the DH course on my Rigid SS or a janky Jamis FS 26.

I plan on going riding after work tomorrow. Anyone else? If not, I'll probably head to the Frisco trail. Will try to cut out of work around 4:00'ish.

Sweet, enjoy it, Paul!
I'll be doing the next race in the endurance series Saturday. Then it's time to prep for the Fall XC series!

How many of the endurance races did you do? I know you and Shawn did well last race. Any chance of podium for the series?

Well, one of the 4 (the 1st) got rained out, so there's only 3 more races. Shawn & I won the 1st one, and tomorrow's the 2nd. We'll both be out of town for the 3rd one, so probably no podium, but we're having a blast.
I had no idea doing team mountain biking could be so much fun.

There's the winter 4/6 hr endurance series that typically starts up in December, which should be fun.

Are you going to race XC this fall?

I think so. Mainly because endurance races seem like fun but I need better cardio first. The xc series should do the trick.

When I first came to Texas (late 90's) a coworker asked me "Do you know the difference between a yankee and a damn yankee?" "No", I replied. "We'll, a yankee comes down to Texas, visits, and leaves. A damn yankee decides to stay."

I'm a damn yankee...

see, that's the point. just don't TELL anybody.

"never ask a man if he's from Texas. if he isn't, he'll feel ashamed. and if he is, he'll get around to telling you pretty quickly." :)
