It's all a matter of how you deal with it.
This December so far had 6 hours of sunlight here.

I'll probably don my headlamp and cruise the 'hood tonight. The neighbors up on the flats put on a pretty good light show via their luminaries and holiday light displays.

Still only one ride all year long so far, lol.

I met up with a couple of my houseboating buds this weekend for a long weekend up in the desert. The weather was cool and breezy but we had a great time. We did two hikes including up to the top of Goat Mountain, pics included. I plan to eventually ride there. It is extremely rocky/chunky.

Cool pics, btw, nice labyrinth. We have one out on the coast that's registered.

I know of one other labyrinth here in So Cal. It's in the Santa Monica Mountains. We ride to it as a turn around destination when doing a certain section of the Backbone Trail.

We also have one on the grounds of the big Epistopalian church, downtown San Diego.

Apparently the Episcopal Church is the keeper of labyrinth's. The one out on the coast near me is registered with them as most of the ones in the world. I've shared it with all my grandkids and there is something special with doing the journey with them.
