NO!
Don't bring it up. Wet trails are no fun.

Ok, ok, in reality, we had about a 2-3 week dry spell where lots of trails opened up.
We just got dumped on last night, and we'll be dealing with tons of rain til Wednesday, at least.

Houston has it BAD, though. Even closed their schools because of rain (16+ inches!)

Not sure what you are yapping about.... I got 18 miles in today riding with my wife in the misty morning. Got my bike nice and muddy too.

Of course, it is muddy because the roads in Lynn Creek Park around Joe Pool have mud from all the run off from last night. I should really be running 25mm tires in bad weather, the clearance under that brake is tight with 28s. :)

So it was road? *YAWN*
I'll hit the road again tomorrow. I've even got a road rally I'm hitting on Saturday. It's about all we can do these days.

NOW NOBODY BUY ANY BIKES!! :naughty:

Yes, road. That's all we got. I was sad when I woke up Sunday morning and the FIRST thing I had to do was flip the status to my trail on DORBA. :(

If you're getting homesick RC, come East. Nothing for the last 10 days but chilly temps, clouds and drizzle, drizzle, drizzle with the occasional downpour thrown in.

It's blazing here. There is a strong dome of high pressure parked over the SW. We are supposed to have a high of 107 here on Monday. Today, it's ONLY in the 90s.

Been hot and muggy the past few days here in So Cal. Hate it. Can't keep dry. Sweating just typing this reply.

Went to the beach today. It was blazing hot there, too. Everyone was hiding under their beach umbrellas.

WTs naked hippie story reminded me about something. It's been freaking hot around here in Utah for awhile now. We've been at 100, over 100 or around 98 for about 2 straight weeks now. I think we're looking at a little relief in the next week but its still going to be in the fuggin' mid to upper 90s.

We are high 80s, low 90s right now, with good cloud cover and intermittent monsoons... it is glorious!

Love seasons. Can ride snowmobile out of garage onto 5,000 miles of awesome ribbons of white tight and twisty trails. Drag race across frozen lake at 100 mph. Some of the best skiing on the east coast 15 min drive, or 45 minutes by snowmobile. Ice fishing. Snuggle up around the fire place on snowy nights. Freakin love winter!

Same here. Don't ya hate the haters? If they would just get out in it instead of darting from the house to the car and back...
Saw a couple days back they were expecting like 80 inches up north. That would suck for a bit. Especially for road crews.

Wow. 80" is a storm to remember. Would love to be there for that. Funny how some people love it and want it, and some not so much. Or how in places where they don't usually get it don't know how to react, and in other places its just another day.

It's been a wet Winter here in not-so-sunny So Cal. I've had the irrigation system off for weeks now.

HOWEVER...

After this week, it looks like we are going to dry out and warm up for as far ahead as can be seen. I hope that's not the end of it. We need SO MUCH MORE still.

Weatherfreaks, please chime in. Are we already done with the wet stuff here on the Left Coast?
