Took my daughter to the natural History Museum this morning along with everyone else in the Greater Los Angeles area. :x

This is the dinosaur hall. We also visited the taxidermy halls for North America, Africa, and for birds. Plus, we went into the gems and minerals hall. There was GOLD in that thar hall! :lol:

Was thinking about the Marpilli family when I saw the video of the failed SpaceX rocket landing video from this weekend. Elon Musk is awesome, one of the few people that gives me faith in the future of humanity. His response to the failed landing: "Well at least the pieces were bigger this time.." :lol:

No sir, the tar pits have Ice Age animals, nothing much farther back than that.

These are bones (and some bone replicas) from all over the globe. The pics only show about 20-25% of what there is to see in the Dinosaur Hall. It's actually a well done display.
