That sideways roller thing near the end had a very smiley-looking lady laid on it... just sayin'...
Another thing is that you wouldn't want to do any of that spring thing without clothes on of some kind... just sayin'... I guess it could have been designed originally as a giant epilator tho...

I met up with Optimus (and Mrs. Optimus) in Death Valley National Park this past weekend to show them around the place. We had a great time and saw lots of great sights. Here's a quick video compilation of our travels:

Nice! I love Death Valley and Mojave desert, I was there countless times. Here is a video from my last time (end of 2014), and pictures from previous trips.

Back when I traveled for work (mid 90's), everyone wanted a Toughbook. Those things were bad-ass. Didn't even know they were still being produced.

I sold my 18 and got a 19 Mk2, and man I EFFIN LOVE IT! No caddy, cracked screen back cover but hell this thing is AWESOME. Best Toughbook I ever owned.

Which I sold on too (with profit!) and got myself a 19 Mk5 (i5 2520M) last December.

Best laptop I ever had, next to my GT780DX+R and ThinkPad T22.

So how are ya going to die? Somebody not only asked the question but did a little research on the matter.
I live in UT and it looks like I'm going to die by "Other and unspecified events of undetermined intent and sequelae". Wtf!!!

Uh oh, what have I done?

Now I have four months to get to appropriate shape. That race seems to be quite popular, if you don't register within couple minutes of opening, you are SOL.

If it is that popular maybe you an auction off your spot to the highest bidder :character-beavisbutthead:

You're committed now! September sounds like a pretty awesome time to riding through Vermont though, should be fun.

Sold in less than 20 minutes... my neighbor is that race veteran, he made me do it. I tried to register previously but never got in.

Well, I'm sure you can complete it pretty easy, Sti. It looks like the runner spots are a bit less coveted. Can't say I blame them. Running 50 miles, even in Vermont, sounds positively like a miserable proposition.

Yeah, I don't know how they do it. 50 miles with 8000ft vertical ascent sound really brutal.

On my commute home, there's a light pole that has an ever changing variety of bike decals. Here's the current state...

I'll pack a couple of HK stickers and add to it next time I pass by. ;)

The company I work for is moving some servers around for a client and I have to be on the call "just in case" there's an issue. What-ev-er...

Was on the call last night from 01:00 to 04:30. Worked today and tonight's window is 01:00 to 05:00. :P I'm drinking tea and sugary snacks to stay awake. :D

I'd consider going for this record if I had less waistline and more flexibility. :)

I just got off the elevator with about 6 or 7 Secret Service dudes. Joe Biden is going to be at my workplace on Friday and it sounds like they're here to lay the security ground work. In the brief time that we were in the elevator you could tell that they were chatting about where personnel and equipment should be placed. As an aside they were significantly shorter than I would have imagined. I guess they were 5'10" or so, definitely not 6' like me. It probably helps them hide behind bushes.

Watch out....You might end up like Will Smith's character in the movie "Enemy of the State".

I had a dream last night that my tires suddenly started weeping sealant and went flat on me while I was out riding.

I support access for all, however when I see one group discriminating against another group, it really pisses me off. Your photos speak volumes to the hypocrisy. Thanks for posting those photos as I'm sure I'll be referencing them.
