I'm looking to get a bike light that comes with both the handle bar and helmet mounts. I believe the Serfas True 500 & Niterider Lumina 650 both have this. Does anyone know which one gives you more coverage?

If anyone owns either of these please let me know what you think of it.

Thanks,
-Greg

i have the 650 and love it, whether its on the bars or on the helmet. it has lasted over 3 hours at full power before and didnt even start to dim. they list for around 140 but you can find em on ebay for 100 bucks.

It's kind of hard to tell over the internet but here are some pictures of both.

No problem. Lights or any pictures are hard to tell on a browser not to mention, what someone considers a good light. Meaning how it actually omits light. One light might have 700L but omits a bluish light or yellow or white. You get what I'm saying? Kind of like how some lights look on cars HD vs Regular. Both can be bright but those pictures give you an idea of the spread/light color/throw.

FWIW I would get the 650 and not the new one which they just updated to 700 but looses time output on high.

I think the spread is the main concern for me. It looks like the Niterider 650 might have a very slight edge over the Serfas 500 in regards to the spread coverage.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks.

Your right, also the light output is "150" more.
