Change in ride plans this morning. My love of low pressure cost me again. Another sidewall failure on the flux so out with the fatty

Heavy winds/rains a couple weeks back toppled trees and relocated bridges

Need to head back later with some line and a hook so I can ghost bike this back to the house. Easier when they chuck them on the ice

I've heard that in a short time the Earth's poles will switch, north/south.
What do you think will happen then? Will the N on my compass point to Mexico?

In that case, I shall take the opportunity, to make a world wide chain of shops, offering compass correction service.
Coming to a place near you!

Those who are in the know say that it's gonna be a real lousy day here when the poles shift. Luckily, none of us who are here now nor any of the next few generations are going to have to deal with it.

I finished my shed building trip with a ride with my son and my granddaughter. The last time I was there, I had promised her that we would hang the birdhouse that she had built for a school project. She had a tree picked out and we rode to it and hung the birdhouse, with Lady the trail dog in tow.

First, the most important question:

I didn't get to ride there, it was a trip with wife. I saw a few nice bikes loaded on cars though.
What do you want to hear about Iceland? It is fantastic as long as you stay away from the touristy areas (like the Golden circle). I need to process pictures I took, then I'll post some here.

Danish? No, English is the second, almost first language there. The truth is, Icelanders are pretty much multi-lingual.

I have some family from there so I know a bit about Iceland. I just like to hear other people's impressions of Iceland.

It's pretty much the most expensive place to visit on our planet. Water is naturally heated from underground, no water heaters there. Iceland is said to have the most pure, best drinking natural water, straight out of the ground. Because of the loooooooong Summer days, the sleeping quarters have black out shades attached to the windows that make it so dark inside that you can't see your hand in front of your face. In the height of Summer, the sun does not fully set (24 hours of light). The native language makes my eyes cross. I ask my Aunt to talk to me in her language whenever I see her. My head wants to explode.

What was your favorite thing to see?

How was the weather?

Where did you stay?

What places did you visit?
